SAMOS THE SAGE Review Silvie’s Lounge February 22nd

“SAMOS the Sage has taken his new, more low dynamic style of music, and given it live energy akin to that of his performances as a high-speed punk/grunge frontman. Still jumping around, pointing out his own flaws and mistakes, and engaging with his audience through yelling and niche humor. The music itself is a mixture of melancholy phone call samples backed by synthesizers and catchy drum loops. Like hearing a twisted new take on a breakup song. Although a new live set that is still working through its own kinks. The last few tracks were as dancy and memorable as a new Chemical Brothers album.”
